Where Did You Grow Up?

I’m a military brat, so I grew up all over the place, but I spent most of my youngest years at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. I have so many memories riding bikes on the nature trail, fishing with my family on the pier, boating with friends, and enjoying an endless supply of fresh seafood. Sadly, I don’t enjoy being on the sea anymore (seasick!), but I do love the view from a beach!

What Did You Want to Be When You Were Young?

I really wanted to be a veterinarian until I learned it wasn’t just about cuddling puppies. I found out the hard way I’m allergic to cats, and I can’t even imagine administering a shot—or worse—to any living being.

What Motivates You Most to Come to Work?

I love contributing to a team that results in building people up. That’s some good, fun energy! I am a lifelong learner and wholeheartedly believe that challenges lead to opportunities for growth if you’re open to it. It’s a big world out there—dive in and go for it!

What’s One Productivity Tool You Couldn’t Live Without?

The humans that surround me. There’s literally an app for everything, but I learn the most by going straight to the incredible people around me that use any variety of them. It’s the CliffsNotes version of what, when, how, and why to use any of them—if at all.

Is There a Skill You’d Like to Develop?

Patience. I admire that in others because it displays intelligence and promotes inner peace. Google what the Dalai Lama says about patience. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

Currently? Facepalm, crying laughing, and drool face. I’m going to guess my week has been riddled with Bob Ross-style "happy accidents" that make me laugh so hard, I cry. I mean, what else can you do? Get hungry, I suppose … for sushi maybe?
