Case Study—Strategic Planning for Utah Engineering and Survey Firm

CASE STUDY

Strategic Marketing

In 2015, a Utah-based engineering and survey firm needed a department realignment. MARKETLINK dove in and guided the company through moving the responsibility of department heads. Through the strategic plan, successful goal tracking and execution was identified as a core requirement for the company, as this would allow for their internally-focused leaders to turn their attention outward to marketing and business development. MARKETLINK implemented monthly team meeting strategies that helped identify individual department needs and simultaneously pushed these managers’ focus to their new goals: lead finding, marketing efforts, client relations, and strategic initiatives.

LINK TO SUCCESS:  The firm’s perspectives are re-aligned: a marketing mentality permeates the organization and their department managers have been freed up to focus on firm-wide initiatives, successfully delegating day-to-day initiatives to their team.
