I find this second grader's drawing from 1945 really pretty touching--I'd guess created while his father was on leave from WWII

The black paint of her hair and brown of her body has aged and worn some highlighting the knife marks of her carving and revealing green undertones in the paint

Hand Painted Papier Mache Eggs - Set of Three mid-century planter 16 3/8" tall x 11I think these papier mache eggs are mini masterpieces, and really love whoever made them. I think the female nude is my favorite, wrapping around the sides of the egg and surrounded by flames! But that clown is pretty terrific too, wavering between happy and sad. And the blue egg with three leafy stalks topped with what look a little like pinecones (?) are a nice complement to the other two. Fun in a bowl, or displayed in egg cups, or I'd think thread
