Ammonites were extinct marine molluscs related to modern squid and octopus, and their iconic ribbed shells are preserved in sandy coloured limestone. These larger ammonites, measuring 2430cm, make impressive centrepieces for fossil collections, museum style displays, or educational study. Their spiral form
