The Side Pull with the bit is the next step in Progressive Training following the nose band Side Pulls. This teaches the horse to carry a bit while keeping to the same Side Pull action that the horse is used to. The bit is a Black Iron Snaffle Bit that is designed to keep the mouth moist and has a pleasant taste. The Black Iron is supposed to rust but still keeps its taste.
