Ancient Afghan Seal, Etched Carnelian Pendant slices hand-carved leaves with a translucentThis is an ancient Seal depicting a boar. From the Sassanian Empire, 3rd Century AD, this seal is from the Indus Valley, Pakistan. Worn as a pendant, this ancient carnelian seal has a 4mm hole, and a lovely standing or walking boar. 18mm diameter x 16mm tall. One in my collection of 30 seals, many stones, including carnelian, agate, iron ore, and jasper. All unique and highly collectible! The wax relief shows as clearly as possible the impression. So
