Most commonly used for steaming puddings but the versatile basin can be used for kitchen prep or serving. The rim on the pudding basin is shaped so that the pudding can be sealed before steaming. The vented base allows bubbles to escape from underneath the basin, preventing it from tipping over in the pan. The Classic shape
