Its success made it the preferred trainer for the Warsaw Pact countries as well as over 45 other Air Forces around the world
The last flight (STS-135) was on 21 July 2011
The Vulcan was used in anger during the Falklands War in 1982 where it delivered conventional bombs onto the airfield at Port Stanley
