Ancient Ecuadorian Whorl, Pelican peanut beads Jade is of mixed naturalA unique ancient "Spindle Whorl", made of clay from the Manteno Culture, dated from 800 1500 AD depicts a pelican which apparently had religious significance, representing transcendence to the "Otherworld". 14mm diameter x 13mm tall, hole is 2 1 2mm. Highly collectible and in very good condition!
