From 1931 1999 it was the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs (during that time they won 11 Stanley Cups). As well it was the home of the Toronto Huskies for their lone season in the Basketball Association of America in the 1946 47 season (a league that was a forerunner to the NBA). It also
