This unique denim is woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan. Rope dyed short slub yarns are used to create an uneven surface texture and tone. Over time, the indigo will fade to reveal contrasting vertical patterns. The ID on the selvedge is decorated with the traditional Chinese New Year colors of red and gold.
