Finely Incised Pair of Rusty Red Studio Pottery Serving Bowls curated curiosities where he had just thatI wish I knew the maker of these striking, very finely made bowls, but have not been able to decipher the signature or the mark that appears near to base on the side of one of them. My guess is that I'll find out after I've sold them that their maker is quite well known! I believe they were soda fired, yielding this wonderful warm rusty red color with mustard yellow highlights, and they feature very finely incised banded designs, distinct on each.
