A Portuguese Order Of The Christ; Grand Cross Breast Star By Lemaitre 1901-1918 Newly Listed Footnote: This badge was producedMulti piece construction, silver with red, white, green and black enamels, gilt outline on two insignias, maker marked "LEMAITRE 5 bis RUE DU LOUVRE PARIS FABRIQUE D'ORDRES FRANCAIS ET ETRANGERS" on the reverse cartouche; this company operated at this address from 1901 1918, measuring 84 mm x 95 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual pinbacks, chipping evident in the red enamels on the stem of the heart where it meets the flames, near extremely fine.
