Instituted 27 December 1905 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. (1906 issue). Constructed of silver, affixed to a bronze backplate with a vertical pinback and period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 35. 08 mm (w) x 36. 94 mm (h), weighing 21. 3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
