Pliancy of the rubber blade allows flexibility of material thickness through pressures and applied angles. The E. P. D. M. is a stiffer blade which allows for the serration to stand up. 1 8" serration Refill blades are also available. The blade is 24" long. Handle sold separately use with 5EPT
