A Rare Army Standard Top By Kraas Foundry, Berlin 1942 Auction dated August 3In cast aluminum, marked "BILDGIESSEREI KRAAS BERLIN 42" (Kraas Foundry, Berlin) on the base of the coupling, illustrating the left facing Army (Heer) eagle, its talons clutching a swastika below, in an ornate spade shaped frame, marked on the top of the coupling near the frame on the reverse, 124 mm x 275 mm, two holes on the side of the coupling near the base for attachment to the flag pole, very good detail, light contact, near extremely fine. Rare.
