J" (Stefano Johnson of Milan) and inscribed "ANZIANITA" (Seniority) on the reverse, measuring 32. 2 mm (w) x 35. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, exhibiting spotting and light contact overall, without ribbon, better than very fine. Footnote: The Military Merit Medal was instituted on March 22, 1860 and was issued in three grades: I Class Gold
