Germany, Weimar Republic. A 1932 Los Angeles Olympics German Team Insignia Auction Archive Hardwick enlisted as a Lieutenant(Olympische Sommerspiele Deutsche Teilnehmer Insignien). Constructed of a golde yellow wool base, the obverse bearing a late Weimar era German coat of arms in the form of a machine embroidered black eagle, with talons and beak highlighted in red orange threading, superimposed over a gold bullion wire shield, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in uniform removed and near extremely fine condition.
