Germany, Imperial. An M1915 Pickelhaube Plate consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac white and blue enamels bearing(Preuen Helmadler fr die Pickelhaube fr Mannschaften). Constructed of matte grey magnetic metal, the reverse retaining both lugs, unmarked, measuring 12. 5 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), demonstrating the loss of the eagles left leg which formerly clutched an orb, in uniform removed and fair condition.
