Spain, Franco Period. An Order Of Cisneros, Grand Cross, C.1950 United Republic of reverse marked “30” for Hauptmünzamt(Orden de Cisneros). Instituted 1944 by General Francisco Franco. 1944 1977 issued. In bronze gilt, an early sash badge consisting of a red enameled four armed Point Cross with ball finials, featuring crossed arrows in each quadrant also in bronze gilt, with obverse center depicting a typical of time period enameled black eagle, with plain reverse, measuring 53. 69 mm (w) x 59. 57 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), on period sash, very fine.
