A medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicts a standard Polizei style eagle motif, the reverse inscribed with the number 8 and circumscribed with Fr treue Dienste in der Polizei, measures 37. 09 mm in diameter, on suspension loop from period original blue ribbon, and in fine condition.
