Constructed of a bronzed aluminum alloy, the obverse bearing a raised NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated within an oak leaf border, the reverse featuring a thick dark green wool liner, topped at the corners by brass clips retaining an original neck chain, with links bearing alternating raised NSDAP eagles and wreathed swastikas, with one gorget clip and two chain links
