Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Board Cap for Enlisted Ranks, with Owner-Modified Chinstrap visually-hidden with an exterior wreath(Kriegsmarine Schiffchen fr Mannschaften). An interesting well preserved Kriegsmarine dark blue board cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of dark navy blue wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which subtly slope toward the front. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark blue wool backer bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 60 mm (w) x 25 mm
