Senegal, Republic. A National Order Of The Lion, I Class Grand Cross Star, C.1960 Archive measuring 34 mm (w) x(Orden Nacional del Len de Senegal). Instituted in 1960. Four piece construction, star insignia in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, mounted to a silvered and gilt bronze circular base with thirty emanating rays, unmarked, measuring 81 mm in diameter, chipping, crazing and repair evident in the white enamels on the star, very fine.
