An Unusual Promotion Document To Nco Ludwig Hadler; Construction Battalion Archive two are marked "HOCHFEIGE QUALITÄT"Measuring 209x297mm, better than very fine condition with a folding crease, some overall creasing, light scuffing, and a small rip at the top. The document states that Gefreiter (Lance Corporal) Ludwig Hadler of the 2nd Company of Luftwaffe Construction Battalion 21 in Luftgau XI (Hanover) has been promoted to Unteroffizier (NCO), effective October 1, 1941. This is quite unusual, as the next rank would normally be Obergefreiter (Corporal). The
