Description
Driven by the poetic
There’s a sense of duality about Papa Roach’s first live album
” Inspired by a line in Rachel Cusk’s novel Outline - “Vanity is the curse of our culture” - it switches up the philosopher’s famous “I think therefore I am” into SPRINTS frontperson Karla Chubb’s own raison d’etre: “I speak so therefore I understand”
and a sloppy but brilliant attack that would inspire punk rock (without the punks ever getting its joyous slop quite right)
