Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Crown Of Romania, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 Hold A tell-tale sign of German(Ordin "Corona Romaniei"). Instituted in 1881. Type II (1932 1947). In silver with red and white enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 37. 7 mm (w) x 56. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, light crazing evident in the white enamels on the reverse centepiece, otherwise the enamels are intact, on an original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
