United States. A Coronet Head Gold Ten Dollar Coin, 1901 Hold 70 mm (w) x 23(Currency, Coins). Antique. A circular coin constructed of 21kt yellow gold. The obverse bears the portrait of Liberty encompassed by small stars and below bears the date 1901. The reverse bears an eagle with outstretched wings with a shield on its breast. It clutches a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. Above the eagle is a scrolling banner with the inscription IN GOD WE TRUST. The image is encompassed by the inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
