A silver gilt cross featuring white enamel arms with a thin orange enamel border, the central medallion features a silver shield on a red enamel field surrounded by a green enamel wreath, the reverse medallion is engraved 1946, suspended from a ring and decorative elongated suspension loop, measures 57. 23mm (w) x 62. 36mm (h inclusive of integral ball), weighs 41. 8 grams, mark on
