A rounded medal constructed in silver, the obverse centre showing an engraved Argentine coat of arms with the surrounding inscription CAMPAA DEL CHACO (Chaco Campaign), the reverse presenting in three lines the inscription LA NACION ARGENTINA (Argentine Nation), surrounded by a laurel wreath, measuring 30. 46 mm (w) x 35. 00 mm (inclusive ring suspension), with minor wear and toned silver,
