The external structure is made of steel which has been oven coated with acid resistant epoxy paint whilst the inner tanks are made of extra thick 304 stainless steel. The whole structure is insulated with a 40 mm thick layer of ceramic fibre which ensures that the temperature outside the apparatus remains at room temperature.
