S." on the edge, 39. 3 mm, on original ribbon with bronze suspension hanger inscribed "U. S. S. WILMINGTON" with pinback, spotting, contact marks, very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, recessed medal bed, scuffing and wear evident on the exterior, wear on the velvet lining and exposing the raised copper frame on the medal bed, case fine. (C: 127)
