Reuss, Principality. A Silver Merit Medal Buy Now maker marked "Verlag K(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1885 by Prince Heinrich XIV. (1885 1918). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised monogram of Prince Heinrich XIV, the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), within a laurel leaf wreath, measuring 32. 72 mm in diameter, weighing 18. 2 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
