In bronze gilt with red and white enamels, unmarked, measuring 36. 3 mm (w) x 57. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, traces of gilt wear, very light contact, on a full length replacement neck ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Military Order of Christ was instituted in 1917, based on the earlier Order of Christ and is awarded for outstanding services to the Republic in
