Date of item: Period of Nazi Germany. Condition: excellent. Footnote: A signed photo of SS Obersturmbannfhrer Hugo Eichhorn (19111992). Eichhorn participated in the Polish Campaign in 1939 as part of the SS Division Totenkopf. In early 1940 he was involved in the formation of the 5th SS Pionier (Sapper) Battalion 5 in the newly formed division Wiking. He received his Knights Cross of the Iron Cross on Jan 15th, 1943 as SS
