Ethiopia, Kingdom. A Star of Victory 1941 for Domestic Engagements consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac WWII Royal Canadian Engineers BattleInstituted in 1941. In coin silver, measuring 35. 3 mm (w) x 53. 5 mm (h), traces of greening evident on the obverse, contact marks overall, without ribbon, very fine. Footnote: The Star of Victory 1941 was instituted in 1941 and was awarded for service during the Patriotic War against the Italian occupation 1935 1941, in two versions: (i) Domestic Engagements and (ii) International Engagements.
