A bronze cross patte alise, with the imperial crown on the 12 oclock arm and the year 1915 on the 6 oclock arm, the obverse centre with the cipher of King Wilhelm II within an oak wreath, the reverse centre presents the inscription KRIEGSVERDIENST within a circular oak wreath border, measuring 43. 81 mm (w) x 43. 71 mm (h), weighing 27. 3 grams, with laterally pierced loop for ribbon suspension, and in
