Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A Crimea War Medal 1854-1856 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac marked "2 ARGENT" (silver) flanked(Krm Harbi Madalyas). Instituted in 1855. In silver, reverse inscribed "CRIMEA", measuring 37 mm in diameter, worn on original ribbon, light wear and small edge nicks, very fine condition.
