Hillingdon House, Hillingdon, Middlesex mb-height 3574 Above are the royal armsHillingdon House, Hillingdon, Middlesex, c1820. Hillingdon House was built by Meinhardt Schomberg, 3rd Duke of Schomberg, who fought alongside William III at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690 and was knighted and made Duke of Leinster for his part in the battle. It was later the seat of Mary Watson Wentworth, the Marchioness of Rockingham. Hillingdon is now in the London borough of Hillingdon.
