Cloth Version Type 2. An eight point sunburst with the top, inner layer sunburst in matte grey cotton thread, the bottom, outer layer in bright, silver aluminum wire, the cross has a gilded circular cupal wreath with embossed laurel leaves and ribbons and a small banner with the date 1941 at the bottom centre, the innter edge of the wreath has a red thread border with an additional silver
