United States. A Purple Heart, To George J. Curtis, 91St Greentree Division, C.1944 Buy Now The waist area is linedIn bronze gilt with purple, red, white and green enamels, engraved "GEORGE J. CURTIS" on the reverse, measuring 35 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), chipping evident in the purple enamels on the right side, scattered gilt wear, contact marks, fine. Footnote: Curtis served in the U. S. Army. He served as a corporal in the U. S. Army infantry, 91st Greentree Division in Italy. He earned the Combat Infantry Badge and his unit received the Presidential Unit Citation.
