Germany, Third Reich. A 1936 German Olympic Commemorative Medal, With Case Hold Between March and early June(Deutsche Olympia Erinnerungsmedaille 1936). Instituted 31 July 1936. (1936 1937 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised Olympic column and rings, overlaid by a NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1936, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR VERDIENSTVOLLE MITARBEIT BEI DEN
