Austria, Imperial. A Military Long Service Decoration, II Class for Officers, c.1915 Newly Listed and set within a laurel(Militrdienstzeichen fr 35 Jahre). Instituted September 19 1849. Type IV. (1913 1918). 35 Years of Service. In bronze gilt, a cross pattee with black enamel border with superimposed eagle on the obverse, reverse plain, measures 33. 16 mm (w) x 36. 91 mm (h), worn on original ribbon, gilt loss, in extremely fine condition.
