Dressed in a dark coat with a light waistcoat, white shirt and neck cloth. An eyeglass is held by ribbon to his coat. Background details of drapery and a frame. Inscribed: 'painted by H. Eldridge. Engraved by J. Jenkins. SIR ABRAHAM HUME, BART. F. R. S. S. A. FISHER, SON &Co. LONDON, 1830.' With a facsimile signature. Inscribed in pencil lower
