Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from a bronze boutonniere retaining a period original bow tie style ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a hand painted multi coloured Prussian eagle in exceptional detail, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, unmarked, measuring 15. 95 mm (w) x 18. 38 mm (h),
