United States. Two Second War Army Air Forces (Usaaf) Pilot Badges United Republic of dated 9 October 1939Includes: 1. Army Air Forces Pilot Badge (in sterling silver, marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 77. 5 mm (w) x 22. 5 mm (h), horizontal pinback). 2. Army Air Forces Pilot Badge, Reduced Size (in sterling silver, marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 57. 7 mm (w) x 16. 5 mm (h), horizontal pinback, exhibiting light contact on the obverse and wear in the frosting on the reverse). Extremely fine and better than very fine, respectively.
