COM have collaborated with American artist Faith Ringgold to produce a cashmere blanket to celebrate the launch of Ringgolds summer exhibition at the Serpentine Galleries, London (6 June 8 September 2019). The blanket is inspired by Ringgolds first series of abstract paintings, The Windows of the Wedding, made in the 1970s. Ringgold has described the works in this series as representative of a prayer rug; something that couples could
