Circular bronze medal
circumscribed by Cyrillic inscriptions indicating that the medal was issued to celebrate the 1863 centenary of the Educational House in Moscow
the exterior is inscribed SOUVENIR WORLD’S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION
Germany, Third Reich. A Mint Reichsverkehrsdirektion Kiev District Sleeve Insignia consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac King Albert Medal(Reichsverkehrsdirektion Kiew rmelabzeichen). Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow Reichsbahn style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above an inscription of RVD KIEW, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
