Anhalt, Duchy. A Friedrich Cross, Pinback Version Newly Listed 77 The lowest number of(Friedrich Kreuz, Steckkreuz). Instituted 12 December 1914 by Duke Friedrich II. (1914 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a circular oak leaf wreath joining the inner quadrants, bearing a central raised monogram of Duke Friedrich II, the six oclock arm bearing an institution date of 1914, the twelve oclock arm bearing a royal crown, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire
