A 1940 Pattern Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's Belt Buckle By F.w.assmann & Sohne Newly Listed superbly rendered painting in blackIn stamped steel painted Luftwaffe blue, unmarked reverse, measuring 48. 2 mm x 65. 3 mm, emboss stamped with the "F. W. ASSMANN & SHNE LDENSCHEID" maker mark and dated "1941" on the leather tab, near mint condition. Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German
